Meet Dr. Olson
Dr. AnnMarie Olson has practiced dentistry in Austin, Texas for over 30 years, and believes in a “high tech and soft touch” approach to dentistry. With advanced training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Full Mouth Restorations, Sleep Apnea, Invisalign and Sedation Dentistry, Doctor Olson created a patient-centered private practice with an emphasis on each patient’s total health.
Dr. Olson is a past President of the Capital Area Dental Society and was the first woman elected to this position. She represented Texas as Trustee to the American Association of Women Dentists and was the first President of the Texas Association of Women Dentists. She was awarded the “Young Dentist of the Year” award by the Capital Area Dental Society, demonstrating her early commitment to the profession of Dentistry, and was named “Volunteer of the Quarter” by the Capital Area Dental Foundation. Dr. Olson received a Fellowship from the International College of Dentists, awarded to dental professionals who have shown outstanding commitment to their profession.
Dr. Olson has been a leader and member of various professional organizations including The American Dental Association, American Association of Women Dentists, Texas Dental Association, Texas Association of Women Dentists, Capital Area Dental Society, American Academy of Clear Aligners, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the International College of Dentists, and the Capital Area Dental Foundation. She served the Texas Dental Association in many positions, including Delegate, and Chair of the Peer Review Council.
Dr. Olson is regularly featured in Texas Monthly Magazine as a “Super Doc” and was recognized as a “Woman to Watch” by the Austin Woman’s Magazine. She is a Clinical Faculty Member with DC Dental, and presented a Webinar titled “The Heart of Cosmetic Dentistry.” She has published two articles in the online magazine thenew.dentist, and presented “Build a Dental Community” on the Podcast Dental Slang. She is currently working on her first book, looking at dentistry from a woman’s perspective.
Dr. Olson is an enthusiastic Austinite and is involved with the YMCA of Austin – Camp Moody, and the Storybook Project of Texas. She serves as an Ambassador for Catholic Charities of Central Texas. Dr. Olson is a certified Master Gardener, and a soloist and cantor with St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. She is a passionate traveler and enjoys gardening, cycling, yoga, Pilates, and spending time with her family when at home in Austin.
Meet Dr. Culotta
Dr. Kacie Culotta is a true Family Dentist, who treats our patients of all ages, including infants and children.
Dr. Culotta is a proud provider of Invisalign, Restorative and Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry and KOR Tooth Whitening. She is a CO2 Lightscalpel laser-certified Dentist with advanced training in gum tissue management and tongue-tie releases.
Dr. Culotta holds the additional certification of being a Lactation Counselor, allowing her to provide comprehensive care for Family and Baby, specific for feeding and airway health.
A Houston native, Dr. Culotta attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning her undergraduate degree in Biology with an Honors program in Medical Ethics. During her time at UT, she was a selected cyclist on the Texas 4000 team, cycling 4500 miles to Alaska while raising awareness and funds for cancer research. Dr. Kacie Culotta received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in 2014.
Dr. Culotta also practiced with the St. David’s Foundation, providing Dentistry to the underserved in Austin. She exclusively cared for elementary children in Title I schools, residents at the Community First Village, and The Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM).
Dr. Culotta is a member of the American Laser Study Club, is a past board member of the Capital Area Dental Foundation and served as Liaison to the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). She also served as Co-Chair of the Capital Area Dental Society Young Dentist Committee, and as Liaison to the Capital Area Dental Society.
Dr. Culotta was awarded the Young Dentist of the Year Award from the Capital Area Dental Society, and the Dr. Fricke Mentoring Award Recipient, from Austin Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She was also awarded the Best Associate Dentist, Second Place, in a national competition held by the Scheduling Institute.
Dr. Culotta enjoys volunteering, yoga, learning Spanish, and traveling with her husband Daniel and their young daughter.
Auzi was born and raised in Iran. She immigrated to U.S when she was 24. She was a lawyer in Iran! She became a dental hygienist after she moved to the United states. She loves her patients and excels as a hygienist for Restora Dental Arts. She enjoys baking and sharing with friends and family.
Janet is a native Austinite who has worked with Dr Olson off and on since 1994. She is excited to be here now as a full time hygienist and loves integrating total body health in the dental practice. Weekends are spent with her family, playing Pickleball and gardening.
Janet has 3 children and 3 stepchildren ages ranging from 19-29. She also assists Dr Culotta with tongue tie releases in babies. Her ideal vacation would be summer in the mountains.
Amber has been with our team for 6 years and is our Patient and Logistics Coordinator. She started off as a college intern and has worked through different roles in the office. Amber has a BBA and Music Minor + Certificate in Vocal Performance from St. Edward’s University. When she is not in the office, you can find Amber singing as a vocal scholar for her parish and sings in Masterworks Singers When she is not working or singing, she is a caretaker for her Deaf mom.
Crystal is one of our wonderful patient representatives. She has been working with Dr. Olson for a bit over three years. She has such a soft spot for our patients, and it shows in her everyday interactions. She has a sweet 6 year old daughter, who she adores immensely. In her spare time, she can be found with her head in a good book, or shopping for a new pair of sneakers.
Sheila was born and raised as the sixth of eight children in the lower Hudson Valley Region in New York. From a young age, she knew her passion was in providing care for those in need. Sheila provided Early Childhood Development with her own childcare business for ten years while raising her three children. She continued her growth in health services by entering the Dental field. She is now the Lead Dental Assistant for Restora Dental Arts. Her experience and knowledge of children and healthcare led her to become a Lactation Counselor, providing Dental care and Children health resources to her community.
