Meet The Team

For nearly 40 years, Dr. AnnMarie Olson has cared for patients in Austin, Texas, guided by a simple philosophy: “high tech, soft touch.” She pairs advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth restorations, sleep apnea, Invisalign, and sedation dentistry with a gentle, personal approach that puts patients at ease. At Restora Dental Arts, the patient-centered practice she founded, she focuses on each patient’s total health, with an emphasis on education and prevention.

A respected leader in her profession, Dr. Olson is a past President of the Capital Area Dental Society and the first woman elected to that role. She represented Texas as Trustee to the American Association of Women Dentists and served as the first President of the Texas Association of Women Dentists. She has served the Texas Dental Association in many roles, most notably as Chair of the Peer Review Council. She received the Young Dentist of the Year Award from the Capital Area Dental Society and was named Volunteer of the Quarter by the Capital Area Dental Foundation. She is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, an honor recognizing outstanding service to dentistry.

Dr. Olson is regularly featured in Texas Monthly as a “Super Doc” and was named a “Woman to Watch” by Austin Woman Magazine. She also enjoys sharing what she has learned with fellow dentists. As a Clinical Faculty Member with DC Dental, she has presented the webinars “The Heart of Cosmetic Dentistry” and “Building a New Dental Office: Should You Press the EASY Button?” She has published two articles in the online magazine thenew.dentist and discussed “Build a Dental Community” on the podcast Dental Slang. She brings that same passion for education to the wider community, most recently presenting “The Mouth Doesn’t Lie: How Aging Transforms Oral Health and What We Can Do About It” to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at The University of Texas at Austin. She is currently writing her first book, which explores dentistry from a woman’s perspective.

A proud Austinite, Dr. Olson gives generously of her time to her community. She is involved with the YMCA of Austin’s Camp Moody and the Storybook Project of Texas, and she serves as an Ambassador for Catholic Charities of Central Texas. As a musician herself, she is especially proud to support Austin’s music community through HAAM, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.

Outside the office, Dr. Olson sings in three choirs. She is a certified Master Gardener and an enthusiastic traveler, and enjoys cycling, yoga, Pilates, and spending time with her family in Austin.

Dr. Kacie Culotta is a general dentist who believes a healthy smile is part of a healthy, well rested life. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, she has a special interest in airway health and screens her patients for sleep apnea. For patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea, she provides custom oral sleep appliances, a comfortable alternative to the CPAP machine that helps them get the restful sleep they deserve. 

Dr. Culotta also provides restorative and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry, including KOR Whitening. She takes the time to listen to each patient’s goals and concerns, explain every option clearly, and make sure each person feels comfortable and confident in their care. 

A Houston native, Dr. Culotta earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, where she also completed an Honors program in Medical Ethics. While at UT, she was selected to ride with Texas 4000, cycling 4,500 miles to Alaska to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. 

Dr. Culotta is actively involved in her professional community. She is a member of the American Laser Study Club and a past board member of the Capital Area Dental Foundation. She has served as Co-Chair of the Capital Area Dental Society’s Young Dentist Committee, as a liaison to the Capital Area Dental Society, and as a liaison to the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), which helps Austin’s working musicians access affordable health care. 

Her dedication has been recognized by her peers. She received the Young Dentist of the Year Award from the Capital Area Dental Society and the Dr. Fricke Mentoring Award from Austin Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She was also named second-place Best Associate Dentist in a national competition held by the Scheduling Institute. 

Outside the office, Dr. Culotta enjoys volunteering, practicing yoga, learning Spanish, and traveling with her husband, Daniel, and their young daughters.

Dr. Rose Duong Xiao believes that excellent dentistry begins with listening. With more than eight years of experience caring for patients of all ages, she provides personalized, comprehensive care that helps patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles, always with close attention to each person’s needs, goals, and comfort.

Dr. Xiao earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. While at UT, she joined a dental mission trip to Honduras, an experience that showed her early on how much access to dental care can change lives. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, graduating with research honors, and co-authored a paper published in the Journal of Endodontics, “Effect of Bacterial Biofilm on the Osteogenic Differentiation of Stem Cells of Apical Papilla.”

Committed to evidence-based care and modern techniques, Dr. Xiao has pursued advanced training in diode laser dentistry and dental sleep medicine, including oral appliance therapy. Her clinical interests include comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry, with one central goal: helping patients keep their oral health strong through every stage of life.

Dr. Xiao takes a conservative approach to treatment, putting each patient’s longterm health first while respecting their preferences. She works to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, informed, and empowered to make decisions about their care. She is especially passionate about helping patients with dental anxiety, taking the time to build trust and make every visit feel manageable. For her, one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is helping patients restore their oral health so they can eat comfortably, smile confidently, and enjoy a better quality of life.

Outside the office, Dr. Xiao enjoys exploring Austin’s food scene, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She has completed several triathlons, including Ironman 70.3 Galveston, and is always looking for fun new ways to stay active.
